Help "Input Signal Out of Range"

hi, okay i bought a monitor yesterday "compaq fp 5315" worked well in games etc

but when i opened bf1942 it got the message "Input Signal Out of Range"

drivers are installed etc, help?

btw i also tried it on my big crt monitor, and it works fine on that

are you using refresh lock ? or some sort of application which locks fps according to resolution?

my guess would be that you havent configured it with your latest monitor.. that or bf1942 uses some strage resolution from last time you used it which is not compatible with monitor .. it should have nothing to do with the game itself.

NOLUCK, someone sent me a software called reforce, and my default refresh rate for 1024 ws 200hz :s and i changed it to 120 and it worked, but thanks!

i meant to say hz.. not fps. good god im sleepy
