Help making decals??

I've tried and tried with wally and others, and it's not working! I was wondering if someone could make these 2 pics into .wad files for me....or give me a very descriptive walkthrough...thanks

make your pldecal.wad and place that in your game folder. you must also replace tempdecal.wad with a copy of the pldecal.wad which should be in the same folder.

basically just do the same thing you had to do before steam, except now you must make of copy and replace temdecal.wad

make a copy and store it too cause when your games update they will replace/remove these files sometimes.

what are u saying? i know i replace the pldecal.wad but what about the tempdecal.wad....delete it, rename it? i dont understand...

nothing just replace it, go in and play, u dont need to repleace anything else.

are u shure u even knwo hwo to make the resolution right? irfranview and wally should get hte job done,

u need irfranview to make the correct resolution, and wally is just a converter to wad.

didn't think this was that hard to understand

make a copy of pldecal.wad, rename it tempdecal.wad and remove the original tempdecal.wad (i.e. "replace")

just go to fileplanet and get half-life decal converter. it does both.
