Help me decide: ipod or Wacom Tablet?

what should I get?

ipod 20 G

or Wacom graphire3 tablet

I'd like both but can only get one atm.

the ipod I can use at work to drown out annoying coworkers that babble on and on about their new shoes/dress/nailpolish

the Wacom would be cool cuz I'm an illustrator and would use it more as a hobby then for work related purposes

I've always wanted an ipod but i'd get more use out of wacom and it's almost $200 cheaper ...but the ipod ..she is sooo sexy
any recommedations?

Buy the tablet and then buy a 128 MB MP3 player. That way you get the best of both worlds.

I don't think an iPod is worth that much money. Especially when cheaper alternatives exist. I doubt that you really need to have 20 GB's of music every second of the day.

well I'd be using the ipod while at work so that's at least 8 hrs a day ...I'm a former mac guy so naturally I'd want an ipod

but good point ...stilll ipod is sooo cool ..but tablet has uses but ipod is cooool

Wacom tablet without a doubt. if I had the cash I would get one...
I find that a cd/mp3 player is fine if you just want some extra music on the go.
I have a panasonic mp3/cd player each cd holds around 200-300 songs and takes two AA batteries that last for 75hrs.
thats not too bad if you ask me.

Well i have an iPod (3d gen 20gig) and it's one of the best things i've ever bought, if not the best. i use it constantly, and, whilst a wacom would be great, i'de seriously go for the iPod if i were you.

they're well worth it in the long run
