Help Me! (Find a book or two)

I'm looking for a fiction book that was censored/banned in either the US or the UK during World War 2.

failing that, a book that is obviously influenced by the restriction of civil liberties during ww2.

fiction guys! not books about censorship during the war...

edit: and/or a list of books banned/censored in France in the past 2-3 years would be nice. (if there are any)
