Help me finish my new system...

Guys,

I am in need of some help and or suggestions. I am looking to upgrade my current computer P4 2.0Ghz, 512Mb RAM, ATI 9800 Pro. Here is a listing of what I currently have and what I need help with:

Lian Li PC-65B Aluminum Case
Vantec Stealth 520W Power Supply
ATI 9800 Pro Video Card

Processor: ???????
Motherboard: ????????
RAM: ???????

OK now that, I got the hard part over with, let me specify one thing. I am only interested in using an Intel Processor (no offence to you AMD guys) I would like for the system to be over the 3.0Ghz barrier with a Gig of RAM.

Please list any combinations that would allow me to overclock the system in the future when needed. Cooling isn't an issue with the current setup.

I don't know much about Intel systems (I'm an AMD guy), but the Anandtech guides are really good for this stuff. There's different guides for low, mid and high-end users. They talk about overclocking too.

What do u have against amd? An amd64 fx is much faster that any intel.
What is ur budget?

Overclock this chip 2.2ghz to 2.5ghz with good cooling, no problem.
