I messed with the sttings, made them too high, and guess waht, css dont work!!!!! Can i run it in safe mode to change it back to my working settings (because i can change them ingame, my menus dont work)??? PLEASE HELP!!

Ps. I know this is the wrong forum, but no1 helps you in the "right one" so just please have mercy and make my hl2 dreams live again!

And delete the cfg folder.

It's just your config folder, at most a one second download even on 56k.

i doubt you would ever have to download a config file. they're autogenerated by the program itself.

no, no im redownloadin css, a sec time...the frst redl didnt work. wen its done ill try messing w/ tht file

dude. it's your configuration file. don't bother redownloading anything.

(even if it isn't that file, deleting it will only cause you to lose key bindings and video/audio settings. no biggie.)

OH THANK GOD!! I was so scare\d that i wouldnt be able to fix it and maybe the settings would carry over to hl2 or somthing. But its fixed...PHEW!
