Help me overclock my pc

I know how to get into my Bios and all, i just dont know how to overclock stuff. I want to get my cpu to 3.0ghz or higher if possible. Is there a risk in damaging stuff ? I heard my cpu is easy to overclock and is stable when overclocked? is that true?. Thanks

3ghz is easy with your system. The only few things you'd need to do is lock the PCI at 33mhz, lock the PCIe at 100mhz, drop the memory devider to 1:1 (meaning putting the ram speed to pc4200), and set the fsb to 333. This should work flawlessly, but I'm not too knowledgeable of the nvidia boards.
