HELP ME......please :frown:

I just installed CT Source and have a problem. I cant play on most of the maps with out lagging. Like the office map, I will have 9 FPS and then if i go in the office room with the hostages it goes up to 20 FPS. Other than that it stayes at 9. I tryed setting the video controls up differently and any way i set them up it was the same thing.........lagging!!I have a new computer with 250 H.D., 1G Ram, Pentium D 2.8 GHZ processor. I dont Know what to do, If some one could help that would be great.

Most likely your graphics card, best option is to buy a new, better one, but research a bit first.

I have what ever my Gateway came with. So I should get a better one. I was told that my stock computer only has a crapy one that is built in. I will try that. Thanks you for your help people.

Well I went and I got a new grafix card. I will put it in tomarrow and then see if it does the trick. I am sure it will work. Thanks again for the help people.

did you actually do some research on this purchase?
