im have a desktop and a laptop and i want to do a lan game. but steam wont let me connect with the same cd key how can i use the same game on my laptop so i can play with a friend who is actually prestent.

You need to completely separate accounts for that.

I don't know, I remember reading you can buy another CD key for 10 bucks, but I don't know if that would work. you might need two different games.
I bought it via steam so I have no experience with CDs and this game.
