Alright. THere is this game I remember playing, quite a while ago, and want to see if I can find it again.

It was a space based game, sort of 2d top down view, and multiplayer with a bunch of players. Everyone would have a ship, and they'd duke it out in space blowing each other up, or capturing flags or other such things. It's very similiar to the sony game Cosmic rift, but came out long before it. Anyone know what this is called? I'll try to remember more info.

On an aside note. Anyone know any free space combat games, similiar to that, but hopefully more like the amazing Darkspace? www.darkspace.net

The only problem with darkspace, was the lack of players, and the game owners trying to force players into the campaign servers(which were so boring compared to the few amount of people)

Subspace! Yes! You guys rock!

hahaha, I remember that game. I was at my friend's back in grade 7 (grade 11 now) and he was playing it. I downloaded it over a year ago again but I didn't play it much.

Have you or anyone else here tried Freelancer, a incerdible game, only way to short, they should have concentrated much more time on the singleplayer, but IMO it has the best space games controls ever made and looks absolutly stunning, the only minus is that you have to unnececairly travel long paths through space to trade and so to get enough money to buy uber leet ships, I never fully tried multiplayer, might be fun though.

(and freespace and starlancer kick ass to)

You fail Gray fox, freepsace is CLEARLY the best.

Yeah, I tried it and liked it... but it wasn't as good as it could be. I wish they incorporated capital ships, and large trading vessels. I was having fun trading in the game, but it wasn't given too much thought.
