help me sleeep!

i cant sleep! i need help sleeping plz help me :sleep: any ideas?


i stay up almost all night to about 6-8 each night and wake up somewhere around 4 i cant keep on doing this so if you have any sleeping tricks or whatever plz tell me.
 
Close your eyes and lay down on your bed.
 
kill that stupid neibor who wont turn off his music.
 
get a teddy bear. they calm down even the most stress of people.
 
Don't go to sleep one night. Just stay up and I guarantee that by 10pm the next evening you'll sleep like a baby.

If that doesn't work you could try valium.

Don't think about a lot of stuff when you sleep. I know trying not to think about stuff usually has the opposite effect.

Also watching boring movies with the temperature turned up and a lot of blankets will make you snooze real fast. Something with Meg Ryan should do the trick.

anyways this is off topic, my suggestion is to read a good book. sounds backwards but i always fall asleep while reading good books ... kinda sucks...
 
Man, all the cool people seem to have these warnings now-a-days.

How do I go about getting these warnings? Or is asking about warnings a warningable offence?
 
Best suggestion is, as mentioned above, just force yourself to stay up all night, all day, and then sleep at a reasonable time the next night. You'll feel a bit weird though - a cross between being high and being dead. Pro-plus helps.
 
I've been having sleep trouble too lately, the problem is... I SLEEP TOO MUCH.

I just can't wake up, I put 2 alarm clocks and my mom tries to wake me up too, but nothing works. She says I tell her 5 more minutes or something like that, and I don't ever remember it. :|
 
im also havin sleepin problems, every school night i dont sleep till well after 12:30 am, lately ive tried goin to bed at 10:30. im up at 7:30 am each morning, and so shattered throughout the day, yet it is constant.
im gonna try stayin up all night, done it a few times in my life, you feel so weird. but i can not really afford to do that though, full time school, tesco (think of it as our walmart) have offered me a 1-10pm shift on a saturday. aaaaaah. il try the teddy bear :)
 
Routine is best, if your body is used to sleeping from 5am till 5pm then 5am is the only time your body is ever going to want to sleep.

You can only adjust this sleeping pattern over time, going to bed a little earlier each night is the best way.

Hah you wuss, I go after 2:00 and have to get up at 7:00.
But yeah I hate it to, I wish I could goddam sleap.
Hey does anybody know if you can buy sleeping pills without perscription.

I wonder, if you made a thread bragging about your warning count, would they reset it?

The staying up all night and going the next night works wonders, but try to get to sleep about 5-6pm, for me that means I sleep like a rock and wake up again around 8am. Just make sure you don't fall asleep during the day, that'll **** you up even more cause usually you'll wake up sometime that night, stay up again and want to fall asleep again during the next day. I should know, it happened like two days ago :P
 
spot of cold milk .... OR ! ..... just work really hard during the day as apposed to staying online and chatting .
 
I have this problem too. I don't fall asleep until 02.00, no matter when I get to bed.
