help me upgrade!

id like to be running a new CPU, mobo, RAM and video card by september
what i really need are suggestions for a good, reliable CPU/mobo/RAM combo because im already pretty set on an EVGA 8800 GTS or GTX if i can afford it..
my last two processors have been AMD and ive been very happy with them
however, that doesnt mean Intel is out of the question
also, its important to keep in mind that i DO NOT plan on overclocking any of the hardware and that the rig will be used primarily for gaming
price range is around $300-350 canadian for the CPU and motherboard combo and around $100-120 for new ram (1-2GB)

looks like people are having alot of memory issues with that board though...
but ya, any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Come back at the end of this month. AMD reduced their prices at the beginning and Intel will be doing so at the end of the month. For the price range you are looking at go with a Core 2 duo or quad.
E6600 or E6400 in the price range? Will be dropping soon so we shall see what all is.

Hold on to your money for now, we're about to enter "Round 2" of the AMD Vs Intel price war.

Once Price drops come you either bump this thread or start a new one. It is really worth to wait.
