Help me with a problem.

Ok, basically I got a new router and modem at the same time, and one or the other of them is not behaving properly, for some reason whenever I'm online the net will just stop responding, and I will go in and unplug the router/replug it and then it will start working again, however this is annoying as crap whenever I try to download a file! I've tried downloading frigging steam like 21 times now and it quits half-way through each time. So I try to find a download manager, but every freaking one of them has a download accelerator built in so it gets you banned or disconnects you from most major sites when you use a download accelerator, and every download manager I can find without the lame accelerators has a TON of SPYWARE! WHY GOD WHY!?!??!?! So basically can someone find me a download manager, or a way to resume downloads, WITHOUT SPYWARE or an ACCELERATOR? Please!?

Try using the opera internet browser. www.opera.com

Its has no spyware, it has a free trial version (it just has a banner at the top of the screen you can't get rid of) and it has a download manager but no accelerator.

I also recoment opera, and www.getright.com is really good for getting good speeds on capped sites and at finding mirrors
