My current specs:

OC'ed P4 530J (3ghz)
ATI radeon X850XT
2X1GB DDR2 corsair value (533mhz)
Sound blaster audigy

The X1950s going to give you the best overall boost in games. The E6600 is going to give the most future proofing, but make sure you MB is compatible.

All my games run with low FPS, i think it's my cpu. Even DOD: S is slow.
I shouldnt get 30fps and below on DOD: S with HDR off with a X850XT EVER!
Also, I want to play BF2142 well.

Just overclocked the bugger to 2.6ghz!!! Got a 3dmark06 cpu score of 2137!
Stock was 1791!
My Pentium 4 got a score of 849.

Neptune = Happeh!
