This is strange, this is the first time this happens. My chasilight is blinking whole the time which it isn't supposed to(the one you see when the comp is on), when I try to power it nothing comes because the light is just blinking. What could be wrong?

have u taken any hardware out?
Also do you hear any beeps when u turn the PC on?

The thing is that the light is blinking, clearly showing that something is wrong. Its blinking like its set to sleep mode or something. Same happened yesterday but I could just take out the plug and put it back in and everything was to normal but this time it doesn't work

Does the motherboard manual say anything about what the blinking light may indicate?

EDIT: Do what Dumb Dude suggested first!

try re-seating the cpu, graphics card, ram, and make sure that all the wires and cables are in properly, they may have become loose. Also while you are in there, give everything a really good clean, get rid of all teh dust just so its clean. Then if it still fails to post, then try disconnecting all the stuff you don't need, secondary hard-drives, cd-drives and if your pc has more than 1 stick of ram, try using just one. This will help to find if any of your componants are faulty. Then if you find that it will boot, start adding stuff until you find the faulty componant. If after all of that, then it will either be the CPU, mobo, gfx card or psu. Try a different PSU and gfx card, if it still doesn't work, then its going to be an expensive purchase for you to replace your mobo or your cpu.

I would first try clearing the cmos. There is a cmos jumper that can be set to save or not-save the bios info, i would reset this first and see if this solves the problem. If not, move onto other suggestions
