Are you using a skin\weapon\soundpack?

yeah its CS_Realism Update, final edition, sometimes i can type, sometimes i cant see anything apart from that message, i got a cstrike_english.txt and replaced it, works most times but sometimes all the writing is yellow, rather than red and blue.

Try the folloing!

Delete,backup or rename the "english.txt" file in cstrike resources folder!
This seems to work for "fusion SE pack" so it might work for you to!
