Help needed stuck on game

hey, im stuck on HL 2 were you are in the sewers, im in this tall room with water and lots of pipes at the bottom at the top of the ladder across the room there is a ledge with a door at the end of it kinda thing :S there is also long metal bars on one side where i have been before and more pipes help me im stuck

I'm stuck at the same place...I think you have to throw barrels down into the water and stack them to get into that big drain pipe that is about 15 feet up. I tried stacking and jumping for a good 45min before I went to work this morning. It seems like this is the answer...but I can't seem to complete the task. If anyone has any insight, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Edit: You have to go back into the ajoining room to do what I described above.

I'm stuck in the same place...I climbed down the pipes, and opened a valve that fills the room with water...but I'm stuck from there. I've tried blowing up barrels/etc...but I just can't get it...

well...if this valve fills the room with water then my prob. should be solved. Open valve in tall pipe room....go back to adjacent room and climb down ladder through metal floor and go through big pipe.

In the room with the pipes are smaller horizontal pipes which you need to carefully jump down till you reach the valve, then when the water rise's go back thru to the other room and swim thru the big pipe, then get some air and swin down with crowbar at hand and bash the planks holding various floatable ojects which you use to jump across :bounce: :E

This is definatly one of the best game ever :E
