Help on half life episode1

Hi everybody .

I have Half Life episode 1 and everything was going well until I get to Urban Flight's part where Alyxx shots the ladder.
I climb the ladder , there's an error beep but no error message and the game crashes.

I already re-installed windows to see if that was the problem but I still get the same beep.

Any sugestion ? (please , have sugestions , i realy was getting into the game) ;(

Do you have Steam?
If so have you tried verifying the game files in Steam?

no , i don't have steam :/

Then your stuck. It's the anti-piracy protection that is blocking your progress. I recommend buying the game on Steam, it's cheap.
