Help Playing Mods

Hey, ive never played any mods before and im having trouble getting the one i just downloaded to work. This is the address of it - C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\Rock 24 I have unzipped the contents and put them in a folder here. Is this right? Also when i do get it to work where should they show up?

Restart Steam and it should show up in your games list.

Ive tried that but it still isnt there. ? is there anything that i have to do to the files in it?

check to see if everything in a folders inside of the rock 24 folder. you dont want just one folder inside of the rock 24 with everything in it, because extracting will do that sometimes.

Yeah in mods there should be a folder called 'rock 24' and in that should be all the game files- models, shaders, lots of folders like that. You might have another rock 24 folder inside your first one.
