help please..cstrike.wad probs..

ok..so first off..im just learning how to make maps now..because i have some good..and crazy ideas lol but i wanted to know how to get cstrike.wad..i mean on my tutorial site..it said u had to install counterstrike/hl2 from the disk, because steam doesnt give it. So i installed it, but there is absolutoly no Sierra folder or cstrike.wad of any kind..does anyone know what i can do?

oh, and if it matters, i had cs:s/hl2 installed with steam installed when i reinstalled with disks..

O ya..also..if anyone can post up the ZHLT Windows executables thing also..that would be great..the ones from the steam site are broken links.

Again, youre mixing up the old HL and Source engine. If you want to map for any Source games (HL2, CS:S), use the SDK included in Steam, you don't need any wads, Source uses vmt/vtf textures.

...the source sdk..that still includes hammer....so am i getting anywhere?

wait..didnt read thourolly..or however the hell you spell it lol..but ok thanks..now im off to the search button..MUST FIND SOURCE SDK TUTORIALS!

ok..can anyone give me like a site or something for source sdk tutorials that are actually good? like all the sites ive gone to from people saying they are good..they dont explain good, or they expect you to know things that i dont know..or that you have to be like advanced to know or make..so can anyone help me?
