BTW my dads file (which is the super mod that can do everything without a password) is passworded so i cant try making norton allow it again...

CRAP i knew i fofrgot something.

I mean that my steam games wont access the internet for some weird reason (and my dads file is pwed and his file ahas norton without hte password, but i cant figure out his login password)
So i cant fix it with norton
and i tried using windows firewall...

But if I guess what it is that you're saying is that: You can access internet with Steam because your Dad restricted internet access (because of the Porn he found that you downloaded) with password, and now Steam can't access internet because Norton Firewall is blocking it, and you have to have password to have Norton allow Steam access the internet, But you can’t ask your Dad the password because somehow he was mean and unfair to ground you for downloading those Porn into his machine.
And now you want to crack Norton?

Yep Barney, that seems to be a likely scenario. I think he suspects Norton is blocking Steam etc from accessing the net, but his user account is not an administrator one, and won't allow him to play with the settings. Something like that.

Grow some balls, tell your Dad what is going on, and he might sort it out for you, (if he's not still pissed about the gay porn you downloaded!) J/K

I CANNOT connect into a server

It always says "Failed to connect after 4 tries" even tho other games work fine on the internet

So umm... What your problem is, is that your correct ports aren't open? (Making it impossible for the game to connect to the internet)

OKAY...

All of a sudden my game stops connecting to the internet after steam updates... My dad's file has norton internet set to "Learn" so whenever a game goes onto the internet, it "Learns" it.

MY problem is that my dads file is always passworded...
AND that i think i need it to relearn steam games (cause its in online mode, but the games cant connect to the internet) ((steam is in online mode, that is))

OK. From the mangled and limited info you have given us, the situation seems to be this:

Your Dad has given you a limited XP user account, and he has an administrator account. You think (and are probably right) that you need to get into Norton Internet to play with the settings, and allow steam etc access to the net again (it happens from time to time), but can't because you aren't logged on as an administrator. You don't know your Dad's password, to log onto his account. Am I right so far?

Get your f**king Dad to do it for you. The fact that you haven't been able to get him to do it already, says either you are both incapable of doing it, or he (for some reason) won't do it for you. If that is the situation, we can't help you. Passwords are there for a reason, and this is a gaming forum, not a hacking one.

Stop bitching that you don't know your Dad's password.

And it's called an XP user account, not a f**king file. You are not making things easy on yourself, especially as you are asking for help. Don't make up your own damn names for things. "Windows XP User, i call it a file..."
