Help Please..

I know im posting in the wrong place, but i though i could ask bout Cs 1.6 since this is all about Source

I went into the game went on the Internet found someone Ip's from the Internet added them to my Favorites and they all said "Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differ's from the Server's

Can someone please help me to fix this problem? I would be really appriciated if someone helped me out here.

you/they might not be using steam for starters

Either your game is illegally downloaded and not updated, or the servers are using a non-updated server version (possibly they didn't restart to update their servers).

If you have an illegal copy of 1.6 you will never be able to play online. Go buy the game.

I Bought the game for starters..., Cant i download the Client.dll from somewhere?

you cannot play Counterstrike if you have a non steam version on a steam server - if you actually have a legal copy, getting steam makes sense
otherwise consider them completely separate games that just happen to share the same name

Well i've million of people playing Online Servers without Steam,

Download steam fool. Then go to My Games and click on Activate a product.

Put in the CD Key for your CS 1.6 and it should download it.

I did that for mine anyway.

if you have the cd version or the half life game of the year edition it dosent come with steam

Yes. But you use the CD Key to put into Steam to download CS 1.6.
