HELP!!!! Please

I've just recently got my HL2 game, and I have a problem. I'm at the part where he goes to the Black Mesa East facility and he meets Dr. Judith (or whatever her name is) anyway she brings me to an elevator and right after she says "entanglement" she freezes, I function normally but when I push the button on the elevator, it doesn't go anywhere, and when I shoot her, nothing happens. I haven't had a problem with it up until now. Does anybody know whats going on?

It's a glitch in the scripting, when you go in the elevator she's supposed to follow you in, then the doors close and she'll press the elevator button.

Try reloading the game from a previous point and replay that part.

I've done it. It still happens everytime.

other than reinstalling the game, beats me, I never had a problem with it

you could noclip to farther in the level. Type in sv_cheats 1 into the console and then type in no_clip. you can fly through the walls and then type no_clip back into the console to go back to normal.

stand in the elevator with her and press F6 then F9, eventually she'll push the button
