I have a dell 4600.
My system specs are:

2.4 Ghz
512 MB of RAM
60 GB Hard Drive
ATI RADEON 9600 XT
250W PSU (came with the Dell)

I want to upgrade to an X800 Pro or XT, and i want to know if my 250W will be enough power for it to run. Ive heard many people say that they can use a 9800 Pro on a 250W Dell PSU, and i also heard that the X800 Pro uses less power than the 9800. Anybody have any ideas? I dont have hardly anything hooked up to my computer that drains power.

Look t the system requirements for the card. I cant't find a link but im sure they can be found.

edit: 350 watts is recommended but 250 SHOULD be able to handle it

I had this problem a couple weeks ago. The booklet says 300w is recommended but I've been running on my 250 for the last week and a half with no problems. I plan on gettign a better psu soon though, as I'm building a new computer
