Help retrieving CD key

I was wondering if steam keeps track of your cd key for your account. I have emailed the support around 6 times in the course of a month and I have not received a single reply. So here I am at the forum to get info. I lost my hl2 cd case and all the cd's except cd 1. I havent played in months and months and when I decided to play again, I need a cd key and I can't find mine. Someone please help, I do not want to buy HL2 again!

All you need to remember is the steam account name\password you used.

When you use a cd key with steam it will be tied to that account. So if you remember your username\password your good.

you dont need the cd key any more. Just log into steam.
