A few days ago, after I beat Half Life 2 I tried running it at maximum capacity, not a very good idea for my GForce 5700 Ultra FX. As a result, Half Life 2 will not even show up on my monitor. All I get is at the start menu is a large number of colored streaks and some heavily distorted sound. This is a rather large problem considering I have no idea how to reverse this problem. My question and plea is; short of re-installing Half Life 2 is there any way to reset all settings on Half Life 2 outside the actual program. Any and all help would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.
