Ok, so i have a seroius problem that is ruining the game for me. there seems to be a problem with the physics on my computer. after i kill something, its body twitches and flops around on the ground endlessly, and does not stop. it will make smacking noises, shoot dust/water up into the air, and completely slow down my computer. i ran the video stress test on CS:S and i got an average speed of 58fps. Also, objects dont stack on each other, and fly around randomly. such as in one of the early levels, where you have to stack the cinder blocks on the seesaw type thing, so you can get up to the ledge. the cinder blocks will just go through it or fly off or something similar to that. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Athlon 2800+
Asus A7N8X + newest forceware drivers
geforce fx 5600 256mb + latest drivers
nvidia soundstorm audio

ive emailed VU twice a few days ago and have still not gotten anything back. i really need help because ive been waiting for this game for 6 years, only to install it 3 times, with 2 different cd sets. HELP.

Join the club! At least it runs for you, it just sends me to a blue screen.

I want to know what the phuck valve have been doing for 6 years, play testing hardware clearly wasnt one of them. Quite ironic really when you think of all the hardware info they have been taking from people.

Oh well, i wait to get some tech support, but the Steam Forums are always down.

Good job valve!

sorry to hear, but i really wanne see a video of that, caus how you wrote it, it sounds hilarious to watch.

"...after i kill something, its body twitches and flops around on the ground endlessly, and does not stop. it will make smacking noises, shoot dust/water up into the air..."

admit, that sounds funny as hell...

yeah, it was funny at first, but now its just goddamn annoying cause i cant play the game. tell me how to make a video and ill do it for you, cause you'll probably love laughing at my expense  lol. its rediculous...but i wanna get rid of it

you can record an ingame timedemo i think. in the console you type record <filename>, for example record funny, and then type stop, to stop recording. thats the way in half life 1... :D

solution too the problem? no idea

Recording a video

I would love to see what you are talking about. The best program for making a full video of a game sequence is FRAPS. http://www.fraps.com/ would be the URL to get it. It will record like an AVI movie, everything happening on your screen as you see it.
