I'm not proficient with computers, so you may need to explain this as if you were talking to a stupid child, sorry. ^^;

So, the computer I have has it's drives partitioned really poorly, and there's not enough room when I try to install steam to the C drive, along with any games. I'm wondering if it's possible to install steam to my D:Drive? I tried a long time ago, but it didn't work right. Is there any way to do this?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Install to C:\, then copy the Steam folder to D:\ and delete a file called ClientRegistry.blob

Then restart Steam and let it update. Done!

I'm rather sure that you can tell steam where to install when you install it, possibly under something like 'advanced options'.

Also I have my steam on E drive :O

I believe he said that the C: drive has no room, therefore he cannot install it.

You can tell Steam where to install, definitely. I have my steam installed on my E drive too.
