HELP: Stuck in Entanglement

Where I am is at the location where there are three remote guns to deploy and a health and suit charger. there are three fielded off exits that hella troops keep pooring through and my oh so helpful helper keeps telling me more soldiers are on the way and that she is coming to help.

I kill about 40 guys and die before she arrives -- am I missing a way out or am I really supposed to just duke it out forever? thanks!

See them boxes - stack 3 of them like steps up to that balcony in your screenshot.

Then place the turrets where you want or just pick up and drop them - (you need to do this to trigger the combine attack)

As soon as you pick up the 3rd turret, jump up the boxes to the balcony.

Its a nice quiet area where the combine can't get you. You still need to kill some though but its much easier now.

I'm stuck in the same place! Only problem is that the combine never come and neither does Alyx... Help please?

Did you position the three remote guns? As Shadow-Warrior stated, the combine won't arrive before the third remote gun is deployed. The combines won't come until then and she takes her sweet time about getting there after the shooting is all done.

Same problem...deploy all three turrets and no combine soldiers ever show. However, the first time I played, they came, but I saved and quit before they came. Now they don't show when I resume the game.
