Help - Stuck in God Mode !

Greetings.

I recently set the Half to God Mode. Now I can seem to get out of it. I did some fiddling and I think I mixed things up. From what I remember, and my research, I need to alter the .exe file.

I went in and added "-console" to the command line from the desktop icon. As a result, I should be able to access the console by pressing the tilde key, correct? No luck. No console, and still stuck in God Mode.

Am I modifying the wrong .exe? Should I start Half-Life Episode 1 from Steam? I really want to continue, but no in God Mode.

Oh yeah, should -applaunch 380 remain in the command line?

Start Episode 1 from Steam. Press your tilde key, does the console open? Go to 1 if no, go to 2 if yes.

1. Go to options (in game), keyboard, advanced, tick enable developers console.

2. In the console type sv_cheats 1

Cheats mode is now on. Type god

The console should confirm by saying 'god mode is off'. Typing it again will turn it on again.

To get the console start the game then go into your Options. In the keyboard settings there should be an 'Advanced' option click on that and there should be an option to 'Enable Developers console'. Check that box and the console should work.
