download symantec antivirus software Now! (the best software I know), and quarantine it. then delete it. or do a search using the software if it doesnt automatically pick it up

edit: lol,, as fenric said >

google for the virus name, your software will tell you exactly what it is, then follow the instructions you find on removing it.

Settle down for a minute. Answer some questions first.

- Where did you get this virus from?
- Did you execute the file?
- What antivirus program do you have?
- Did the antivirus program stop you as soon as you tried to open it?

I hav Symantec
and I am reading the instruccion and puting all the infected files in quarintine
if they are in quarintine still dangerous?

I dont know were I get the virus
I am not the only user of my pc

no. just make sure that the files are either cleaned or disposed or by your virus software. by the way, a trojan isnt generally a virus, its just a program (that if you give it permission) grants someone in the outside world access to your PC, so its only mallicious if someone is on the other end doing stuff.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ heres a good link. run housecall, let it scan your PC and when its done it should find the trojan. then select the files and click 'clean'. If housecall cant clean them, then make sure they arent running in the task manager (if they are end them and try to clean again), otherwise just delete them.

Thanks everibody for help me

A trojan horse is only dangerous if you dont have a firewall (or have granted the EXE certain rights, such as running as a server) and if there is someone who has the ability to access 'infected' (not the best word, but hey) PC's aimed at you (but the amount of people who get infected with Trojans makes it impossible for all of them to be messed about with at once, so remove it quickly and you'll be fine I suspect).

You could also search for Stinger AntiVirus - I destroyed my Trojan horse with that one

virus advice from Mr 'omg wtf i been infectedz0r ;(' lol, sweet.

But yeah. Do that ^^^

ok, i have two questions:

what is a "window carpet"?
where can i get one??

Once your computer is clean, you need to do two things.

Go to windows update

And get a firewall (I normally recommend Zone Alarm but their new version sucks tbh :x)

i was hoping for some funny responses.
mine: OMG YOU HAVE A VIRUS IN YOUR PC. YOU BETTER LEAVE IT ALONE AND RUN TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL NOW. DON"T WAIT RUN. OMG I HOPE YOU DON"T LIVE IN A POPULATED AREA> DON"T TOUCH ANYONE OR ANYTHING>

Uh. Most trojans are just ad spams.
