When I try to log onto my account in Windows XP Professional, I get this error message :
When I'm finally logged in, the desktop is the default settings; nothing on my desktop was the way it was before (I haven't lost the files on the desktop though; C:/Documents and Settings/My Name/Desktop still has data)
I've tried what this person has suggested :

But...when I move UsrClass.dat from that folder, the same thing happens except that I don't get the error message. Help!! This has happened before but we had to take it in for service in order to fix it. O yeah, system restore didn't help either.
Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.
DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format.
