help whit the HL2 demo!

ok first of all the demo could run in my PC

but when I try to begin a chapter it appear the "memory could not be read" thing

there is some way to fix it

I am very happy for the fact the demo could run,and tun nice,well the map in the prinicpal menu looked nice
