Hi everyone

Hope someone can help me. When I try to install Half Life 2 it comes up with an error message - not enough free disk space to run steam...

Trouble is, this is a brand new laptop, so there's memory by the bucket load. Can anyone suggest the answer?

Thanks

David

Are you installing it to the correct drive?

While C drive is standard, occasionally you get things like G drive. Check your installation path.

Nope, it's come up after the main message 'do you want to install half life 2' - I click yes and it comes up with the error message. Steam is installed already.

Help!

bump...help. Still not worked it out. I can download game from steam direct, but download rate is under 1kb per second!!! What's wrong???

Just formatted hard drive, but steam still telling me there aint enough free disk space to run steam. ITS ALREADY RUNNING!!!ARGGGGGHHHHHHHH:flame:

Reupdate Steam by deleting all files in Steam directory except for Steam.exe and the Steamapps folder.
