help with half life 2 multiplayer

ENGLISCH:

1.Copy the hl2mp directory in
X:\Steam\SteamApps\YOURACCOUNTNAME\half-life 2\

2.Make a shortdoc from the hl2.exe
and set the parameter "-applaunch 220 -game hl2mp -console"

3.Now start the shortdoc
and have fun

yeh but where abouts do i put the paremeter bit?

right click the desktop icon and type it the "target line"

I might be wrong but you might also have to make it read only so steam doesn't replace it, or mabey add the commands through launch properties in steam(right click hl2)

huh? replace what? anyway....any server i can play in? cause what's the point of the mp if i can't play it?
