HELP with HALO!

ive just got Halo and now i feel that im up for playing some Internet game.. When i was about to create a game for me and my friends to play on.. i see that the IP the server would lie on would be my Internal address (192.168.0.2)... I have a router but ive opened up the port 2302-2310 as the default port says in Halo.,.. but it still wont work...

Help is appreciated...

I don't have Halo, but on some games you have to state your internet ip address as the one you want to use, either in the server options or a obscure config file.

ok just open that port in ur router settings and then start a game,it will say ur ip is ur internet IP,but for other people theyll see the external...ive done it before
