I have a opteron and a k8 motherboard, I put on the heatsink right but the clips wont fit, what do I do? = (

i once got a heatsink on without realising i needed to use that lever.. nearly broke the moboFictiousWill said:Some of the later AMD heatsinks have a plastic lever that you need to pull up, then the hooks fit over the tabs on the mothboard loosly. Then push the plastic lever down to tighten the assembly. That's how my amd 64 was - no forcing or prying required.
