Help with Ipod/ Pod Player

I am trying to extract a couple of albums from my friend's ipod to my computer, using Pod Player. Whenever i extract, and specify the target directory, the pod player says 'extracted successfully' but the albums are no where to be seen. I tried a search, and they aren't in any other directories/folders.
Anybody else had this problem/ know how to help?

Or alternatively, anybody used a program that extracts like this successfully, if so, what is it?

When I had to do this, I used a trial version of Copypod. It does limit the number of transfers though, luckily I only had a few to do. Its a good prog though.

ah ok, this one is supposed to work for as many as you want. I just found it strange that its saying extracted successfully and not ACTUALLY coping them to me hdd.
