Hey there. I know we've got some talented artists here and I'm just looking for input/help with a logo for a company I'm going to start. It's going to be decal company for motocross. I really like the logo to be geometric, I think that looks the coolest. Just shapes that go well together. I'm not against roundness, though.

Well, the logo I designed looks cool to me, but it is way too complex for my purposes. The problem is that I don't know how to simplify it and still make it look interesting. I think it's important to get other people's opinions and contributions. So, if you guys could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

Here's what I have:

I would really appreciate it if you guys could give me suggestions or draw your own logo. I'm trying to do away with the outside black and white shapes while still making it look good. You can do whatever you want with it, I'm open to anything. The key for me is symmetry and simplicity.

Thanks a whole bunch in advance everyone! :)

I'll give you a .psd of it in case you wanna modify mine.

the inside is too complex ..especially if it will be printed much smaller like on a business letterhead ...logos shouldnt only be aestetically pleasing, they should accurately represent what the company is about

example:

Merrill-Lynch-logo.jpg

merril lynch, financial company ..stocks, bull-markets etc

or this

IBM-logo.gif

it looks like it was printed with a dot matrix printer or it's digital

Well, you could make the name into a logo, what will be the name of your company?

Your current logo simply doesn't have a point. Find an important, recognizable part of a motor bike, simplify the design, and use two colors that go well together.

Got to go with Pes on this. The logo doesn't say anything. It's just some design that while it may look nifty, it doesn't have anything to do with what the company is about.

Actually, it does. The first letter of the company name is an A. There are two mirrored A's in the logo, but I didn't say that before. It doesn't have to reflect motorcycles, I'm just looking for a geometric design that's simple. Remember, this business is just in a little niche, we're not talking some kind of worldwide corporation making important, high value things. Just a 17 year old kid making stickers in his garage.

Logos. One of the hardest things to think of. Man iv spent ages trying to think of a logo. Just a no go for me lol..
