I have seem to forgoten how to find the amount of factors a number has without listing them , and counting. I remember it had something to do with finding the prime factorization of the number and useing it to find the amount of factors the number has.

If anyone can help me please do so, no stupid comments please.

I cant think of a way to do it without listing em..
why not just use a factor tree type thing...
