Help with network

Im setting up a network for a friend through a WRT54GP2 Linksys router. The computer i used to configure the router is running on XP SP1 and in the network connections Dialogue under internet gateway it shows the name of the router and enabled.

However on the other two computers after configuring the LAN appropirately, under internet gateway it shows "internet connection - disabled". This is not a problem as such because the internet does work on these computers, but certain applications cannot access the internet, specifically programs that try and use FTP services.

Please help if possible

If only you had gotten the WRT54G or WRT54GS, you could download third-party firmware. Do the computers have sp1 or above?

Both of the computers that are acting up had SP2, i guessed this was the case and uninstalled it, and hey presto its working now :S. Must have been the new firewall thats in SP2. Not the most galmarous solution but he's happy - thanks
