I have most all of the games available over steam (besides Half-life: Source, and some of the Counter-strike expansions) and, while most of them work, there are a few of them that do not. Most of them I can update and eventually run (it takes forever on 56k...). The original Counter-strike, Day of Defeat, and Deathmatch Classic, however, do not work. They use the original Half-life to run, of course, but I have HL1 and it does work. They update fine, but for some reason they seem to freeze when I try to load them. I tried installing them a few different times, but so far nothing has helped. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
