Help with Thief: Deadly Shadows

I got this game with my new vid card and I must say it's pretty good. Only problem is that in ever single menu, it's as if the somebody is constantly rolling my scroll wheel up. When i'm in a menu, if I try to scroll down, it gets forced strait back up to the top. Like when I click the button that takes you to the bottom of the page, the page will quickly scroll all the way back to the top. This is really pissing me off because it makes it impossible to read my objectives and such. When I try to click and drag the little scroller, it defensively tries to jump back to the top, causing the page to rapidly flicker in half second intervals, up down up down up down up down.

Anybody know what could be causing this? I manually went into the default.ini file and checked to see if any binds were screwing me over, nope. And I don't get this issue in-game. It doesn't try to constantly scroll through all my weapons, and when I scroll to the next weapon, I get no ressistance.

I'm truely stumped. I can't seem to find anybody else with the same problem.

use the arrow keys to scroll down, it is annoying alrght.

try clicking the scroller again and slowly dragging it, if not just use the arrow keys.

I've tried using the arrow keys. No go. It desperatly tries to go back up to the top, and I can't get past the last item on the page.

thats weird as i had this problem, its not a bug, just an annoyance i think, the only way i fixed it was to put the mouse cursor on the scroler(DONT PRESS DOWN ON YOUR MOUSE BUTTON) and use the middle mouse wheel to go up and down.

try ttlg.coms forums as thats where all the thief fans hang out, they might know. I havent played thief in awhile.

DAMN! WHY DIDN'T I THINK ABOUT THAT! I used that scroll wheell mouse over method a few times to move the resolution bar around (I was just screwing around. Watching the little dot go back and forth, back and forth).
