Help with Vampires:The masquerade-Redemption, please.

I recently started playing this one, its quite good, but I have no manual, and couldn't find any really active V:TM-R forums.
Half-life2.net has this great variety of subforums, including this "other games",so I thought I could get some help here.
I don't get several important things in this game, could somebody please tell me?

1. How to identify things???

2. What do increased levels of Feed discipline grant?

3. What do stamina and dexterity do in the game?

4. Keys "return" and "spacebar", what do they control? I know they're supposed to do something, there's a sound played when i press 'em.

Is redemption the one before bloodlines?

I think the higher discipline of feed allows you to hold somebody whilst feeding them, without them struggling or having enough strength to get out of your clutches. Thats what happened in bloodlines

Yes, The Masquerade- Redemption is the one before Bloodlines.
I played Bloodlines (was great!), I think you might be correct about higher levels of feed.
However the question that really vexes me is how to identify things.

My character found lots of enchanted and special things, but just cant use them, and I can't just leave them.
(being a long time Rpg player, they've become sort of an obsession with me, so I can't really continue that game, if i cant use them)
How to identify the blasted items????

if I rememebr correctly there's a witch/crone NPC that can identify items for a price aswell as seelling different potions and trinkets.

I'm not sure though been so long since I played that game, and I never got very far. I think there might even be scrolls of identifying in there somewhere, but again I'm not sure at all.
