Log out, and then back in.

You probably logged in from another location, and such its using that data or something...But logging out and back in should fix it.

You only get that error on the cracked version don't you, because valve have fixed it since that was made, and logging in to steam updates it.

Suggest you get the propper beta like everyone else.

Uh. No. When my bro is logged in next to me, I can't join (he's playing CS). We BOTH have to Exit and Logout and then I have to join first.

No not at all. I've had this happen to me when I logged onto my steam account from this pc, then went to my other pc to log in, and I got that ticket, so every time I have to logout then back in.
