you need to give people more than an hour to respond :/

it sounds as though either your e-mails or acting up (or they could be filtering the Valve's confirmation mails as junkmail... check your junk folders)
or Valve e-mail servers could be overloaded/congested.

make sure your e-mail filters dont filter out Valve's mails (I dont know from which e-mail addy they send you the confirmation mail however)

in whatever case, it would be a good idea to check the www.steampowered.com forums for an answer... thats the first place I look when Im having trouble with something (which isnt often, but it does happen)

My friend had that same exact problem when he wanted to create his steam account a few days ago. To fix it you will need to login to whatever account that needs validation and starting from the main steam window click settings and then under the settings window click 'verify email addresss'. I ve read on the steam forums that THIS WILL WORK, it may take a while (depending on the load the steam servers are under), but it will definitely send u the verification code.
