Help!

I am on the boat and heading through the canals and I am stuck at a part that has two ships blocking one set of doors that are shut, and than the other side has two doors that are also shut. There are a set of peirs that I climbed over to get to the other side of the ships but then there is nothing on the other side that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just like things that are easy to understand. Breaking up his sentences would make it easier to read.

Is there a ramp on right side of canal to bypass ships?

I think hes at the part where you have to go inside the building, I'm not sure, its a bit vague...

I prefer to think that he figured it out on his own... Baring bugs, there isn't anything in Half-Life 2 that can't be figured out after a little head scratching. The bit that got me for longest was the bit where you have to drive the airboat through the cargo container towards the end of Water Hazard. Just takes some exploring and you're done.
