Hey all, i have a simple question. How do you jump up on to ledges in HL2? ive tried holding down spacebar at the beam, and running and jumping, but they didn't seem to work. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks, but it doesn't work, i eaither jump up normaly then crouch back down, or i crouch, and jump while crouching. do you hold one of the buttons down longer, or press any directional arrows?

Where are you trying to get to? Any specific places?

If just having trouble jumping onto anything, yeah, jump+crouch works.

hold forward press jump and then press crouch very quickly
if that doesnt work the thing youre trying to jump on is probably too high

Ooh, right, that one... I think you have to find something to help you up. I think I used a barrel. It's not a necessary path, anyway. The vent just houses some supplies, you can easily skip it.
