I bought lego star wars 2, kept on coming up with the error of emulation detected even after I deleted alcohol 120 so i sold it because the store wouldn't take it back, and now i learn that supcom is using the same thing and I'll probably have the same problem. My system has no illegal software on it, and I'm going mad as to trying to figure out what to do next, short of wiping my HD and re-installing everything, which would take a weekend that i dont have free. Also, I don't have the net hooked up to my PC anymore. Any suggestions?

Supreme Commander works fine for me, and I do have a deal of software on it that I need to get rid of. I don't have alcohol 120% though. Just daemon tools really.

If you have the legit copy like I do, it should work fine.

its probably because alcohol 120 is still in your registry.
you should contact the makers of the game and ask them about the best way to take it out.

its sort of a virtual cd writer. it lets you treat cd images as real cd's. some people use that to emulate the copy protection on game discs.

Have we tried Sup Com yet? Just curious...don't want someone to miss out on the awesomeness that is SupCom.

Or you know for making legit 1:1 backups. But hey Supreme Commander runs fine with both Daemon and Alcohol running. Some games still require one to hide their virtual drives.

The imgs that I tried don't work, I'm just using a no cd crack now, I saved the original .exe in a separate folder just in case.

Securom has been removed from SupCom in the latest patch (china, poland, +some more not included).

This includes the DVD-check, so no need to let it occupy the DVD-reader anymore.
