Well, yes this is my first post, and yes I did search for this topic, however I am not able to find this topic.
I remember in the original Half-Life being able to control how loud the HEV suit was during the single player game. It was just a little slider that controlled that itself. I like to hear what it has to say, so that I don't have to check my health and energy icons in the lower left while in a fight, however it is nearly impossible because it doesn't "speak up" enough, and when it does, it's too quiet.
Is there a console command to make the suit itself louder, without turning the rest of the sounds up as well?
The first time I heard "Welcome to the HEV Mark IV" it blew me away that they put in as much thought into the suit so that it was somewhat a character in the game, now however it sort of died. Help please?
